WHAT IS
FORMULA SAE-A?
Formula SAE-A is a twelve-month project, which
involves building a race car from scratch. University students get to apply
their academic skills to a real life project and test their designs in a weekend
competition at the end of the year.
WHY BE A PART OF FORMULA SAE-A?
This project provides the opportunity for
students to develop practical skills relevant to their course. In particular,
teamwork is a vital aspect. Students are required to develop a good working
relationship with their peers. Furthermore, Formula SAE-A is ultimately a
rewarding project, as students get to build the race car they designed.

FORMULA SAE-A EVENT
The competition is held at Victoria University
TAFE, in Werribee, where universities across Australasia participate in a
